The role will involve flying drones and gathering data on all types of commercial property.  In addition, there will be direct exposure to a wide cross section of external clients. Regular travel is essential. 

We are looking for a candidate to be based in either the Midlands (Cambridge, Nottingham, Birmingham, Milton Keynes) Bristol or the North (Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester) office.


The key responsibilities for the role:

  • Deal with a wide range of instructions on a variety of commercial properties, including offices, retail and industrial.  This applies to drone data capture related work, and ground-based data capture.
  • Provide support to clients who are principally institutions (pension funds, insurance companies etc) and property companies.
  • Provide drone data capture and ground-based data capture work to clients.
  • Assist with coordination of workload activities, and other duties from time to time as may be reasonably required.
  • Maintain and ensure safety of drone fleet.
  • Business Development and Client Care awareness
  • Adherence to Health and Safety procedure, and Hollis Operations Manual.
  • Responsibility for own continuous professional learning.


Experience, Qualification & Skills Required:

  • A valid GVC and CAA flyer ID
  • 50+ flying hours on multirotor drones.
  • Experience of drone-related applications such as Pix4D, Hammer missions, DJI drone software
  • Good knowledge of Drone laws and regulations
  • Current driving licence.
  • Required to have the ability to work within a team and on own initiative.
  • Must be enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated.
  • Requires excellent time management and general organisation skills.
  • Is required to be flexible and have the ability to work under pressure.
  • Must be well presented and have excellent communication skills.
